He literally saved millions. The cops were NOT innocent, they tried to start wars by giving power back to the old powers. Light was a savior. He did all that and the only argument against him is "he's arrogant i don't like him". Sure light is just as bad as the pedophile rapist murderer that grooms children because he killed said pedophile. Totally the same thing.
