Hello /adv/, I realize Bharatchan is probably not the best place to ask for advice, but I might as well.
To be clear, I'd say I'm doing well in life, I spent my first year of college (before a drop and before covid) mostly at home, the college at first year was also near my home, this caused no social life, stagnation and just overall strife.
I made the decision to transfer elsewhere, not the best place, but its good, obviously with leaving one's home, there's other problems, living in a Hostel has been annoying, and I'm looking to find an Apartment soon. I didn't have as many friends when I moved because no one knew me and everyone had their own groups, but life has been objectively good, or at the very least okay since 4-5 months.
I wanted to go Abroad, not just for the novelty of it, but really to study and experience things, I understand the regular arguements and facets of this, I took on gap year before my first year for entrances and another shot at abroad. And whilst applying for second year, I did apply abroad, and was waitlisted and could have pursued it further had it not been for the 3-4 Cr price tag.
What I'd like to ask advice on are a few questions that keep popping up in my mind.
As I understand, in life there are no set paths, there's no set purpose, no requirements beside staying alive and well, so any direction one chooses is out of volition, towards some cause or desire or thought. My father has his own ideas, and own volition for the paths he's chosen and cannot understand my own direction. The only consistent direction I have found (which he does not disagree with at all, except the immediacy of going abroad) is to go abroad and work within the creative field.
I feel stupid frankly, I can lead a good life here and I think I am now, but every so often I realize im mostly drifting in life, that I am not choosing any directions, but the directions I do want seem to be locked. I am incredibly motivated and disciplined for when I have a direction, and I can commit to it but I don't know if this is the way to go.
How do I know if what I want is actually "worth it" What does it even mean to pursue anything, should I give up and change my desires?
The only things I want feel stupid, they're not at all realistic or understandable, they're very vain, all of it is just self fulfillment. But I dont want anything else, and cannot work for anything else.
here's what I can do, practically
>Pursue a transfer again, abroad
>Pursue an internship for my third year abroad
>Leave college entirely and join a program that I can do whilst figuring out a way to travel
Cannot think of anything more. In my 4th year I will mostly work on an internship, and I do want to go abroad for it, and so also for my third year. I'm not sure if I can go abroad for my 3rd year internship or 4th.
So I have no idea what I'm doing. My Father would not object to anything, as long as its not too retardedly expensive, he doesn't care if I leave college or not. I have the full freedom to pursue whatever I want, I just dont know what, and the only pre-requisite I can see is that its probably got to be abroad.

Honestly, I am exhausted by how this country functions. It feels unreasonable that a large part of my childhood is expected to be sacrificed preparing for an engineering exam like JEE, when even securing a top branch at a top IIT does not realistically translate into globally competitive compensation n0where close to USD 150k/yr
What makes this harder to accept is the mismatch between taxes and returns. We are charged extremely high effective taxes income tax, GST on nearly everything, and massive duties on assets like imported premium cars , yet the quality of public infrastructure, governance, and basic civic systems does not justify this burden.
I wanna feel pride and attachment toward my country, but it is becoming increasingly difficult. On top of that, global sentiment toward Indians is worsening. Racism is rising worldwide, and instead of countering stereotypes through strong governance, development, and global messaging, we continue to be represented by the worst aspects of our society online. That damages opportunities for everyone, especially young people trying to build a global future.
What is most frustrating is the lack of accountability - political, civic, and social. Instead of addressing real issues, we normalize dysfunction and expect the next generation to simply endure it.
So my Q is : which countries today still offer a reasonable path to stronger citizenship in a developed nation??
I do not plan to earn locally cuz I will work remotely afaik but acquiring a strong passport relatively quickly is important, as I intend to relocate to Dubai later for tax and business reasons

yesterday a few people showed interest in my 4chan charts collection. It was unsorted so I apologize for that.
I am starting a series of my "sorted" 4chan charts and infographics collection on this board since the content is mostly advisory. I will be making these threads for the next couple of weeks since there is a LOT of content to be posted.
I could've made these threads on /gen/ or /sa/ but the contents of my collections transcend the topics of those two boards. /adv/ being a relatively inactive board and somewhat permanent board seems to be the most appropriate for these uploads.
I advise the anons to SAVE THE UPLOADED FILES TO YOUR PC ASAP since I cannot gurantee whether the ideologically motivated and prudish mods may readact a few of my uploads in order to keep this site within the legal limits of our country and also their propensity for political correctness from a Indian Right wing perspective makes things worse. I am exaggerating this part a bit but still the motto remain the same "Better safe than sorry".
I'd suggest you to download them and keep them in folders named after the Title of the threads I make here.
One last and VERY IMPORTANT thing I'd like to suggest to those who are downloading these images is to RENAME THESE IMAGES as per the content of the images so that It will be CONVENIENT for you to browse these files within your system for future references. Some images already have a name whic you can read in the fileneame, you may copy the same filename for saving to your pc. Remember that “Everybody fears hell because the heaven is convenient", in other words Convenience is one of our Gods.
Most of the info I am gonna post is worthy of passing down to your loved ones and even next generations since a lot of material will encompass Classical Knowledge. So download it at the earliest.

There is one girl i see sometimes in my campus. We hold eye contacts everytime we see each other. There is 50 percent chance that she is into me or it is just in my head. My friends forced me to approach her but i didn't have the confidence to approach her and i missed couple of good opportunities.
I want to approach her now but i havnt seen her like 1 weeks here but my friends say that they have seen her roaming in the campus couple of times. My first semester is about to over.
What should be right approach? Should i send her request on Instagram or wait for her in the campus as it is driving me insane as pain of regret is harder than rejection. I don't mind getting rejected tbh.
