They need a computer operator who also has internet awareness for social media posting and promotions. 4 hours per day.

My parents will choke the shit out of me if I went there because this job is beneath the status expectations they have on me.

They want me to be a government employee, or work in some posh private bank or some expensive MNC. Not things like this. I bet they would pay 10k per month for this job and in an ideal world I would happily take such job while also try to sign up for some certification course and get trained for a better job. Not here though. My parents will fuck me up and tell me that I am too old for this shit but at the same time they also want me to work in those privileged white collar jobs.

Trying to talk to them about AI driven layoffs or LPG crisis is no use. To them the Indian government has the LPG crisis completely under the control, and if AI is removing people from jobs, then how come the neighbors my age are all having jobs, they'd ask me.
