you are wrong, by mocking the oppressor or giving any mindspace to the person who is trolling you you already have lost.
your pursuit and energy should be to build institution, to help people of your community and succeed to the point that the remarks from the other side do not even bother you. once you succeed in this the person mocking you will automatically become the lolcow and nobody will respect it.
if someone who is better off you is spending time to seethe about you, it's clear there is some insecurity or attempt to distract themselves from something - let that entity be insecure enough or waste energy on this.
once you have an institution you can defend yourself at bigger aggressors. you don't need sympathy - hence sympathy from out-group is mostly useless.
