Keeping this in meta because it's basic formality. I have been thinking of announcing it during update rollout but it's probably better to do now, it's not a big deal just normal '.' you got to put. So basic clarification, as much as i like taking part in discussions, memes / jokes in bhach i hate the fact that convo many a times becomes about 'dyaush' due to the long association of "ROJR (Republic of Jain Rashtra)" flag and "Premium (Golden Jaggu) tag icon" with me - even though it can be used by any other premium users. I avoid using the username for the same reason. Hate the unwanted attention. I once again want to go into the entire history of how all things came into being, but it doesn't matter. A personal corner turned into an imageboard where i do love to talk to all sorts of anon and work on, but i am getting older and want to slowly move away from this. This is an attempt to reduce this attachment and move away. Reiterating for clarification to no longer associate ROJR flag with any tag as me or any user who uses the same username as mine. I wanted to just put this part as the footnote in the new update announcement thread but it's better this way. And not going to lie, i am habitual to having "ROJR" flag and just posting it - even though it's pseudo anonymous somehow i am habitual. While i am writing this, even till now i am uncertain of posting this, i guess let's see as i type further. I have tried many a times earlier. I want to slowly cede away from Bhach- disassociate myself. I genuinely love working on it but sooner or later i have to leave. So this is just one step. I just want the place to be just 'bharatchan' - no dyaush nothing. Updates rollout, people talking shitposting and life goes on - the meta people become invisible eventually. That should be the end goal. Personal attachment is very anti-anonymous for an anonymous imageboard. So there's that. No more flags, no more identities. Have a great life sirs. (I did think about just stop using and let the change be visible - but don't want confusion among bhachiyas so just sorta '.' - clarification post nothing else).

Hello and Good Morning Everyone! Hope everyone is doing alright. Announcing part one of the three major upcoming updates. This one was supposed to be Phalgun Update but here we are in Chaitra. First thing first, **clear your browser cache**. I have reduced the cooldown to just a symbolic 1 minute delay. Coming to list of Update details, please read below **1. Search** You can now search through the catalog directly by entering phrases in the search box at the top right corner. **2. Board wise theme selection** Directly select theme individually for each board, directly from the homepage, catalog or thread view, etc. You can go to the settings, available at homepage and catalog, then -> themes -> select the boards (2 in one go) -> select theme -> save. **3. Complete Navbar redesign** Navbar has been changed. You can now have favourite boards, go to settings -> boards -> select your board and save. This means in navbar you will only see boards which you have set on favourites. If you want entire list of boards there's drop down already. **4. Filters** Long pending but here it is, now you can filter based on >boardname >username or tripcode >location / flag >Filenames >filters either globally or in specific boards. Example: GEO_IN in case of actual countries, "UP", "CH" in case you want to filter through state names. **5. Custom CSS** Another long pending option, now you can write your own custom css and have it applied in all pages or select ones based on your choices. >Settings > CSS > Select Pages and add CSS > Save. Refresh pages to see the changes. **6. Import settings from other people** If you do not want to write your own settings you can just import from others. Which means css, filters etc. from others can directly be imported in your browser locally. *Path: Settings > Misc > Import Settings* **7. Export settings** Obviously you can export entire of your settings in one go, save it so that you may not lose it. *Path: settings > Misc > Export Settings* **8. Reset Settings** Remove all settings by going to *Settings > Misc. > Reset Settings* **Upcoming Setting options** >Audio mode This will allow you to record your audio and post directly like you reply >Canvas mode You will be able to draw and post directly through the post form. >Sync Emoji Though emojis are not promoted, it's just one of the feature where i want the emojis to be dynamically updated and added at the backend and be used. >Shortcuts Basically i wanted *Vim* or something like that shortcuts for the website, though the current internal testing are different. It allows you to quickly switch between pages, sections of the website etc. **What to expect in the Chaitra Update** I wanted to include few more updates in this but it was taking time during testing so going in three stages, next **Chaitra** Update which will be out in two weeks will be of following >Bookmarks index >My Threads section This would show only threads created by you. >Active Threads section Includes threads where you have interacted - created a thread or reply in one. >Stats at the homepage Yeah this one is coming too. >Dedicated noticeboard - mostly at the moderation side but just putting it out there. >Better connectivity between bharatchat and bharatchan, you should be able to directly share a thread in bharatchat and continue convo there if you want. Improvements in Bharatchat overall which is kinda of rudimentary right now. This should cover most of the parts, remaining will be shared in this thread.
