Not exactly relevant to RTA, unless you manage to first draw a pipeline and chart of all Gotra and their different sakha to make sure that they are framework to draw generic conclusions upon. If you blindly approach it from line of genetics, if so will likely end up with zero relevance.

However their is a large majority of saraswat Brahmins as well as some gauda who do claim to be Brahmins but despite sharing a lineage and gotra with other Brahmins, don't actually share haplogroup y dna.

This means they are infact not the descendant of the sapta rishi, but rather some low (indian) with a higher steppe and IVC, who simply saw a lack of authority and decided to kang as something they are not. Checking if our and setting framework will allow us to root out these things, and maybe get rid of Kangers too with some reality check.
