How do you whippersnappers prepare for GATE, Since i'm a mechanical slave I was looking at job postings the other day and they seem to be on the uptick. I tried to pirate some material but nothing concrete is there beyond 2021. Don't think regular studyceling will work for this tbh.

Yeah but there are like 10 differnet people selling their shit and all of their ads suck, I wanted to ask people who've went through the prep stage but the internet is filled only with imbeciles still gunning for CSE so no other branch gets any information. That combined with the deranged worship of the tutors just makes me it all smell like a scam.

Yeah but I still need money to live so these new job postings are a way out of the current dead end job for me.

if 2026: you are fucked
if 2027: use nptel lectures (mechanical stuff is really good eg: prof s k som for fluids and thermo), standard textbooks for solving example problems and end-of-chapter problems (you dont need to read cover to cover, just skim topics before watching lecture and solve problems after), pyqs from practicepaper.in. Sign up to madeeasy or goclasses online test series and grind.
for GA, solving PYQ is enough. You can also pick up Martin Gardner recreational math books 4 fun on amazon/download on le interwebz instead of coaching slop.
for Math, Ken Stroud - Engg. Mathematics & Adv. Engineering mathematics.
Lectures - Professor Leonard, MITOCW Gilbert Strang for Linear Algebra and Differential Equations on jewtube
If demotivated, read a mind for numbers by barbara oakley.
for study tips and staying consistent, read outsmart your brain by daniel t. willingham
watch colin galen psych playlist on jewtube for tips on problem solving and brainstorming. (cs fag competitive programmer but videos are useful in general)
do not fall into the trap of surfing for advice online, avoid coaching slop motibation videos and websites, reddit (particularly avoid gatetard subreddit), gate slop on jewtube.

Alas! this was too late, I forked out some of my savings to buy the Exergic package. I'll follow their stuff since I genuinely don't get enough focused free time to sort out a self made study plan. That being said thank you very much for responding, god knows the other slums i visited didn't.

GA and math? practice what you already know by spamming full-length mock tests and analyzing the subject you are confident in.
I don't think you can do anything beyond that. firehosing new information that you are unfamiliar with will make you perform worse as you have no time to consolidate new information. Take this experience as a teaching moment and start early in future endeavors.
