How do I grow out my hair? Not long as in it should fall to my shoulders but like picrel.
My hair is this rigid curly crap, that arcs up at the ends. And if you have lengthy hair, recommend products!

Get your hair layered pyaare, I've been growing my hair since last 1 year (shoulder length) and honestly its fucking amazing. I dont have to worry about getting haircut and since its way past its awkward phase I just let it out all the time. I dont tie or use hairband like most jeets.
>products
I mostly shampoo and condition it every few times per week. Dont use too much product tho you want the natural oils on your scalp. Oh and comb it regularly.

I forgot to mention the most important part – DONT GO TO JEET BARBER IF YOU DONT WANT TO LOOK LIKE A BHAISAAB AAAHAHAHAHA
Check your nearest hairdressing/styling salon and get your hair layered there.

>Anyway I can layer my hair, myself with the proper equipment?
I mean I guess you could? Do you have any experience with dressing your own hair? If you know around your techniques then it can be doable but I suggest you to get it done from an established hair stylist since they know exactly what kind of texture your hair requires.

Can someone explain what layering is? I'm considering growing out my hair now that I'm out of school. And my college will be okay with me having long hair.

you just stop cutting it lmao.
Idk about curly hair, but mine is very straight (only slightly wavy). All I did is use picrel type of fine comb while your hair is wet, and it should work
As for products, 6kka hai kya? don't use any products. Just shower daily and shampoo once every 1/2 weeks
