This year, Meerut will be the 7th city in UP to get a metro. While all the lines are far from build up to serve as a true system, I do think it's underappreciated how forward thinking it is to build up the metro line in the second fastest growing and largest overall population state. Bihar could learn a thing or two.

i heard that nagpur, prayag and varanasi are getting metro too. they are more ideal for metro lite.
