>The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has successfully completed a scheduled trial run of the Namo Bharat train across the entire corridor from Sarai Kale Khan in Delhi to Modipuram in Meerut. The full 82 km stretch was covered in under an hour.

https://ddnews.gov.in/en/ncrtc-completes-trial-run-of-namo-bharat-train-from-delhi-to-meerut/

With cars etc. depending on the traffic it could take around 2hrs to even 8hrs+ on busier days.

This is one of the major route which was under work as a part of the phase 1 program - Western UP section. Now that is complete, hopefully rajasthan and haryana section speeds up too.

NCRTC also proposed rrts system for bengaluru (4th pic). https://www.moneycontrol.com/news/india/bengaluru-satellite-towns-to-get-semi-high-speed-rrts-corridors-ncrtc-submits-proposal-to-karnataka-govt-13104930.html

I remember back during covid days i was too doomer that it would probably won't materialize.

But then when first section of it was opened it felt like dream come true. After it i didn't care much but glad that this section is operational.

Hopefully remaining sections speed up and complete earlier.
