India's First Hyperloop 'Avishkar' Test Track Completed.

The project aims to create a High-Speed Vacuum Tube Transport system, reaching 1,100 km/h & reducing travel times, like Delhi to Jaipur, to 30 minutes.

I think hyperloop are good for maybe package transport.

Though cost is an issue.

I think we need to re-think this way

>india imports $123bn+ worth of oil every year

sectors like airplane run on oil, same for trucks etc.

what if we pour a bit of it in such high speed infra, go for 'scale' manufacturing to the point average per km construction and operation cost reduces - all this would be using nuclear energy and we already got thorium as a part of 4 stage nuclear program.

of course we are not doing that so ig it's alright to let them tinker around, some of the tech can be later trickle down for normal railways. or maglevs.
